MINI Gets Designer Makeover For "Life Ball" Charity Event

 Three designers, Francisco Costa from Calvin Klein, Diane von Furstenberg and Kenneth Cole will modify three BMW MINI cars for this year's "Life Ball", the biggest HIV/AIDS charity event in Europe that will take place in Vienna on July 17th 2010.



 

 

 

Scaled models are a collector's delight, be it a Bugatti Veyron 16.4Ferrari F40, or an opulent Aston Martin V8 Volante 585EFI. These cars are not only a collector’s item; it is realizing that you are acquiring a designer makeover MINI car for a good cause that can help others.  

 

 

 

 

The last ten years big names like Missoni (2003), Ferré (2004), Versace (2005), Diesel (2006), Mario Testino (2007), Agent Provocateur (2008) and, The Blonds for Katy Perry (2009) have lent their artistic presence to the event. The sale of MINI over the years has helped to raise approximately £416,635 for AIDS research.
