Last week I went to the Leicester Square film Premiere of 'Dead man Running' that stars a few of mates of mine, fellow Gumballers Tamer Hassan and Danny Dyer, and 50 CENT as a vicious gangsta boss!
Check out the trailer to give you a taste of this London gangster flick! Former boxer Tamer Hassan plays a streetfighter called Nick, who has 24 hours to find £100,000 or loan shark Thigo (50 Cent) will bump off his mum (Brenda Blethyn).
Nick and his best mate Bing, played by real life best mate Danny Dyer (seen here on the Gumball together) are thwarted at every turn as they come up with various scams to get the cash...
I'd just like to say I really enjoyed it - there are several great scenes that got the whole cinema laughing!
The film was executively produced by Man United and Chelsea stars Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole, and also directed by an old mate of mine Alex De Rakoff - nice one boys! Tamer and I are regulars at Chelsea matches, and our VIP tickets are usually courtesy of Ashley (this photo was at Wembley in May when we beat Everton in the FA Cup Final!)
After the premiere I had a night out with Tamer, Danny and 50 Cent til the early hours! Dead Man Running was released nationwide at cinemas last week so go and check it out...and I'll see you boys back on the Gumball next year!
