A couple of our friends were invited to drive at the Red Bull World Drifting Finals in LA so myself and a few friends decied to fly over a week early, rent a camper and go to the SEMA show in Vegas. We landed in LAX collected the camper and straight to Vegas where we met up with Joycey and the Rogue Status guys!

First night there we were invited by Joycey and the Rogue lads to the Scion party where it was free booze all night. Highlight for me though was Yo from Rogue getting thrown out for being rowdy lol! Next night the Fuel Girls were performing in the Hard Rock Hotel so we went along and met up with some of the guys from Formula D. We ended up going to a Gran Turismo party where Ludacris was performing live! We went to watch the Fuel Girls perform in Carey Hart's bar and they were told not to go topless. As soon as they did the bouncers escorted them off stage, then my mates threw me up on the stage where I took of my top and was then escorted out of the venue lol

We also went to Madonna afterpary in the MGM Grand another night thanks to my friends in Angel Music Promo but after 5 night we had had enough of Vegas so we decided to head back to LA. We met up with the Fuel Girls again and they were going to interview FMX legend Mike Metzger. About 11 of us piled into the camper van and headed down to Mike's house where about 6 riders put on a great show for us!

Following weekend was the Red Bull World Finals on the Port of Long Beach which was a great success!

Ok heres a nice little story for you guys, In early 2007 my mates Dirty Sanchez went out to Australia to do a tour out there. While in Sydney they were told a story about a guy named Jimmy who lives on the cliffs on Bondi Beach and that he has been living there for about 7 years now!

So the Sanchez lads decided to go and visit Jimmy and they got on really well with him and found out he was a poet and that he was well known in Sydney as Channel 7 had done a News Report on him. The guys were performing in a club in Sydney that night and they asked him along to be there warm up act.

So Jimmy arrives along in the night all dressed up and recites some of his poems and gets the crowd warmed up before the sanchez lads go on stage meanwhile Joycey is recording all of this :)

When Joycey come back from Oz he made a video and he showed it to me and I was asking him who was they guy. Myself and my Dad were heading to Oz later on in 2007 so Dan said whatever I do I had to go and meet Jimmy as he was such a nice guy.

When we got to Sydney, myself and my Dad climbed the rocks next to Bondi Beach to find Jimmy who welcomed us in with open arms even before he knew we were friends with the Sanchez lads. We got on really great and we even had a drink with him. Myself and my Dad said we would try visit him again before we left Sydney.

Because he was after being so nice to us my father thought it would be a nice idea to write a poem for Jimmy from us and gave this to him as a present. We wrote the poem, printed it off, put it in a frame and went back to Jimmy a few days later and gave him it. He seemed very happy with it :)

At the end of 2008 the Sanchez lads once again went to Oz on another tour and wasnt i so happy to see pictures appearing on facebook of Jimmy with the lads and the poem which he still had kept!

If your ever in Sydney please go and visit this man as he is such a nice person :)
